" Pelaw Main Public School students and our AET representatives would like to thank Austin for bringing their ideas to life. From initial concept through to completion Austin took on board the students' suggestions and feedback and created an artwork that represents their connection to school and Country. Our students were able to see the painting evolve throughout the day, which was truly inspiring. The AET students were so proud when they were told that the symbols used in the mural came directly from their scanned drawings. This has given them a sense of ownership and pride. Our students said, "This is awesome?" "It is perfect!" and "It is exactly what we talked about." Just to name a few. Thank you, Austin. This mural will inspire students for years to come. "

" Austin was so easy to work with and put together an amazing concept from the ideas we sourced from our school community. He arrived when he said he would, and went to work straight away. The students were just amazed at the techniques he used and the results they saw as the day progressed. It was such a positive and uplifting couple of days to see a bare and uninspiring wall be transformed into a work of art. " The Nitsua experience with Austin was in every respect very creative comfortable and professional. The end result is a most magnificent piece of work that all staff and students are extremely happy with. But I want to mention that at every step of the process the school was encouraged to express exactly what it wanted to see in the piece of work and was afforded the opportunity to discuss the final product personally with Austin. Contact was made with the school well in advance which allowed us to make contact with all stake holders to discuss the options, so that everyone could have their say. The local paper did an article on the mural upon completion, so the whole community got to see the final piece. From this media exposure another local school principal contacted Mrs Kingwill and expressed that their school intended to get in touch with Austin and embark on their own personalised mural. That will make three schools in our local surrounds that have had Austin change their environments for the better. A very worth while experience for all. We are going to have him back again next year to complete some more work."
