BETWEEN THE PAGES
Lately I’ve been busy, and it hasn’t just been painting walls.
Behind the scenes, I’ve been putting together something much bigger. A book called A Decade of Dreaming, bringing together the last ten years of my work, travels and stories into a 161-page A4 hardcover book.

At its heart, it’s a coffee table book filled with photographs of murals and projects from over the years, but somewhere along the way it became much more than that. Spread across five chapters are stories from the road, the places I’ve travelled, the people I’ve met and some of the experiences that happened around the walls I was there to paint.
There’s a fair bit packed into those pages, and I don’t want to give too much away just yet. But if I’ve painted at your school, in your town or somewhere you recognise, there’s a chance you might find a familiar wall or even a story from that journey somewhere inside.

Then, only a few months ago, the project unexpectedly took another turn.
I started looking at the individual stories I’d written and wondered what would happen if I turned them into lyrics. One by one, I began reshaping the stories into songs and using generative AI through Suno to bring the words to life through music. Suddenly these stories existed in another form.
What began as murals became photographs. The photographs became a book. The stories became lyrics, and the lyrics became music. All of that music is now live on Spotify, giving a little glimpse into the stories behind A Decade of Dreaming before the book itself makes its way out into the world.
